Sound Onion is a not for profit Community Interest Company providing opportunities for all individuals, in particular those with additional needs to engage in therapeutic music and other performing arts activities through workshops and classes in an integrated environment.
Past projects include singing groups for mental health carers and service users and for addiction/rehabilitation service users. Singing has proven benefits to physical and mental health and offers a cost effective alternative to traditional treatments and we have seen amazing transformations in some of our singers.
In addition to regular weekly sessions we offer one to one singing lessons with Juliette. We can also offer multrack digital recording for singers and also beginner guitar instruction through Pilgrim Digital who share our studio one day per week.
Across the year we offer occasional themed workshops too – keep an eye on our news section or Facebook for details.
